We are recruiting for a Store Manager to oversee operations for one of the largest convenience chains in the region. What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire store operation to ensure a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked experience for all guests. You will lead the store in executing all assigned goals and driving performance.
Monitor financial trends, manage inventory, reduce waste, and oversee cash management to achieve store profitability.
Analyze audit results and take corrective actions as needed.
Develop and coach team members, conduct performance reviews, and assist in hiring processes.
Foster a positive, respectful work environment and ensure excellent customer service standards.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and operational standards, and adhere to all company policies and legal requirements.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resources to optimize store performance.
Lead change initiatives and implement operational improvements to streamline processes.
Oversee training programs to ensure associates are well-prepared for their roles and provide excellent service.
Ensure accurate time reporting, manage labor costs, and address compensation-related issues.
Implement loss prevention measures and conduct regular cash audits to safeguard assets.
Review P&L statements with senior management and develop action plans to address key areas.
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports in a timely manner.
Perform other tasks as assigned by district-level leadership.
We’re Looking For:
An associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
3-5 years of proven leadership experience, preferably in a retail or convenience store environment.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for the duration of your shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Strong understanding of the financial aspects of the retail business.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage workloads effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with both guests and team members.
Willingness to learn store computer applications and processes.
Flexibility to work at other locations as required.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
